Irvine, California-based Specright Inc, a software company that enables customers to control critical supply chain specifications, has raised $8.8 million in Series A funding. Pritzker Group Venture Capital led the round with participation from return backers Okapi Venture Capital, Fika Ventures and Mucker Capital.
A Cloud Guru, a learning and talent development platform for cloud computing, has secured $33 million in funding. Summit Partners led the round with participation from AirTree Ventures and Elephant.
Indianapolis-based Viral Launch, a provider of software and services that enable private-label and major brands to sell successfully on Amazon, has secured $7.3 million in Series A funding. Tenfore Holdings led the round with participation from return backers Mentor’s Fund and UpOver Ventures.
Boston-based ZeroNorth, a provider of orchestrated risk management, has raised $10 million in Series A funding. ClearSky Ventures led the round with participation from Crosslink Capital, Rally Ventures and Petrillo Capital.
Gambit Ventures is seeking to raise $10 million for its second fund, according to an SEC filing. The early-stage venture firm invests in companies in the New York City area.
San Francisco-based Tray.io, an automation platform, has raised $50 million in Series B funding, according to a blog post on its site. Spark Capital led the round with participation from Meritech, GGV, True Ventures and Mosaic.
London-based FutureLearn, a social learning platform, has secured 50 million pounds in funding. The investor is SEEK Group.
Boston-based 908 Devices, a provider of analytical devices for chemical and biomolecular analysis, has secured $17.5 million in Series E funding. Northpond Ventures led the round. In addition to the funding, Northpond's Sharon Kedar, a co-founder and partner at the firm, will join 908 as a member of the board.
San Francisco-based Lattice, a people management platform, has secured $15 million in funding. Shasta Ventures led the round with participation from other backers that included Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator.
