New York City-based Credly, a digital credentialing platform, has secured $11.1 million in funding. The investors were ZOMA Capital, Strada Education Network, New Markets Venture Partners, University Ventures, Pearson, Lumina Foundation and Lion Brothers Company.
Digital Guardian, a data protection platform provider, has secured $30 million in financing. LLR Partners was the lead investor.
HZO, a provider of protective nanocoatings that safeguard electronics from corrosive and liquid environments, has secured $70 million in financing. Included in the transaction are $40 million from undisclosed investors and $30 million in credit facilities provided by Cathay Bank.
Tribe Capital is seeking to raise $150 million for its debut fund, according to an SEC filing. Based in Menlo Park, California, the venture firm was founded by former Social Capital partners.
Palo Alto, California and Netherlands-based Onera Health Inc, a provider of sleep diagnostic solutions and services, has raised over $9.3 million in Series A funding. The investors included Jazz Pharmaceuticals and imec.xpand.
Singapore-based Saleswhale, which uses artificial intelligence to automate sales emails, has raised $5.3 million in Series A funding, according to a blog post on its site. Monk’s Hill Ventures led the round with participation from GREE Ventures, Wavemaker Partners and Y Combinator.
Selina, a hospitality brand, has secured $100 million in Series C financing. Access Industries led the round with participation from Grupo Wiese and Colony Latam Partners.
TripScout, a travel entertainment app, has raised $2.1 million in seed funding. Corazon Capital led the round.
Israel-based VDOO Connected Trust Ltd, a provider of security automation for embedded devices, has raised $32 million in Series B funding. WRVI Capital and GGV Capital led the round.
Rochester, New York and India-based CEIPAL, an SaaS platform that automates both the front and back-office business operations of staffing companies, has raised $7.5 million in funding. The investors were Resolve Growth Partners and return backer Mistral Venture Partners.
