The Shatter Fund, which invests in women-led tech companies, is seeking to raise $10 million for its debut fund, according to a regulatory filing. The filing lists the fund's address as Danville, California. The firm is led by Shelly Kapoor Collins, founding partner of the firm.
Palo Alto, California-based Yellowbrick Data, which provides data warehousing for the enterprise analytics market, has raised $81 million in Series C funding led by DFJ Growth. New investors IVP and BMW i Ventures also participated with existing investors, including Next47, Third Point Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Threshold Ventures and GV. The company, founded in 2014, has now raised $173 million in total funding.
San Francisco-based Canopy, which provides premium shared workspace and private offices, said it has raised $2 million in strategic funding. Canopy, which is looking to raise a Series A, said the strategic funding came from Structure Capital, Erik Blachford (venture partner at TCV and former CEO of Expedia, Montage Ventures, Graph Ventures, Mark Pincus (former CEO of Zynga) and Spencer Rascoff (co-founder and former CEO of Zillow).

Palo Alto, California-based Foundation Capital recently added two new partners: Li Sun and Apoorva Pandhi. Sun joined in February and was previously a senior associate at Bessemer Venture Partners. Pandhi came on board in March and was most recently at Quid and before that, Funnl Labs, which he co-founded, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
