Yesware has secured $13.5 million in series B funding. The round was led by Battery Ventures, with existing investors Google Ventures, Foundry Group, IDG Ventures, and Golden Venture Partners all participating. In total, Yesware raised $18.5 million.
Benu BioPharma has established Benu BioVentures, a new biopharmaceutical investment initiative. Funding activities will focus on product candidates with strong animal data and a clear regulatory path that address unmet medical needs. ReferStar has secured $1.625 million Series A funding. ReferStar is a Software as a Service platform that automates and extends the reach of employers by empowering employees, customers, alumni and suppliers to use social media networks to provide targeted talent acquisition through referrals. The funding was led by Granicus Ventures.
