HipLogiq has secured $7 million in series B funding from Hadron Global Partners, a joint venture created to invest in marketing automation, data analytics and eCommerce. Ray Bartoszek, principal of RLB Holdings and Anthony Lanza, principal of Carriage House Partners are majority owners of Hadron Global Partners. HipLogiq received $5 million in first-round funding in May of this year, with a majority of the capital also coming from Hadron Global Partners.
Kabbee, a price comparison service for London’s minicabs, has completed a Series A funding round. Octopus Investments led the round with Simon Nixon, founder of MoneySupermarket.com, making a significant contribution.
LightSail Education has raised $3.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Ricardo A. Retail software company Index has secured $7 million in a Series A round led by Innovation Endeavors, Khosla Ventures, AIMCo and 819 Capital. Index was founded by former Google Wallet executives Marc Freed-Finnegan and Jonathan Wall.

Online identity proofing service miiCard has been selected to join the inaugural class of St. Louis-based financial technology accelerator SixThirty. miiCard is one of four companies chosen by SixThirty to receive funding, mentorship and direct connections to the top U.S. financial service providers. SixThirty is led by a team of technology and finance veterans, including Square co-founder Jim McKelvey.
Aileron Therapeutics has secured $30 million in Series E equity financing from investors including Apple Tree Partners, Roche Venture Fund, Novartis Venture Funds, Lilly Ventures, SR One and Excel Venture Management. The clinical stage biopharmaceutical company is developing therapeutics based on its proprietary Stapled Peptide drug platform.
Mojave Networks, a provider of cloud-based mobile security for enterprises, has closed a $5 million round of funding. The financing was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Sequoia Capital to accelerate its go-to-market strategy.
