TPH Asset Management has announced a strategic seed capital partnership from an Asian institution for the TPH Energy Infrastructure Strategy. The $100 million Strategy focuses on public equity investments across the energy infrastructure spectrum, including pipelines, electric and gas utilities, transmission, gathering and processing, commodity storage, and water facilities.
Pereg Ventures, an entrepreneur-led venture capital firm, has launched. The firm plans to invest in early stage, high-growth, transformational technologies and will mainly focus on the US market while also providing a bridge to Israeli innovators poised to enter the US economy.

Prescription Eyewear, parent company of myOptique.com, SunglassesShop.com and GlassesDirect.com, has added LensOn, a Nordic online contact lens seller, to its portfolio. The acquisition was financed by Prescription Eyewear's existing venture capital investors Acton Capital Partners, Highland Capital Partners and Index Ventures. Additional funding was received from GP BullHound Sidecar, Silicon Valley Bank and Kreos Capital.
CloudVelocity has closed $5 million in Series A funding from Mayfield Fund. CloudVelocity is a privately held company developing a hybrid cloud automation software suite, formerly known in stealth mode as Denali Systems.
Propel Fuels, a retailer of alternative fuels and clean mobility solutions, has closed on the initial phase of its Series D round of funding with $11 million from existing investors Nth Power, Craton Equity Partners, and @Ventures as well as a new investor, Gentry Venture Partners. The company has also secured $10 million in debt financing from CapX Partners.
Online farmer's market Farmigo has raised $8 million in Series B financing led by Sherbrooke Capital and RSF Social Finance. Series A lead investor Benchmark Capital also joined this round.

Healthy snack subscription service NatureBox has closed a $2 million round of seed funding. The investment is co-led by General Catalyst Partners and Redpoint Ventures and includes the participation of prominent individual investors.
SNUPI Technologies has launched with $1.5 million in funding from Madrona Venture Group, Radar Partners and the founders. The technology, also called SNUPI (Sensor Network Utilizing Powerline Infrastructure), was developed at the University of Washington and Georgia Institute of Technology by professors Shwetak Patel and Matt Reynolds and others.
