BASIS Science has raised a further $11.75 million in Series B funding. The round included investments from Intel Capital, iNovia Capital, Dolby Family Trust, Stanford University and Peninsula-KCG. Existing investors Mayfield Fund, DCM and Norwest Venture Partners, also participated. This new investment represents the close of the Basis Series B financing, which now totals over $23 million.

Albion Ventures has backed Scottish Aridhia Informatics, a health and biomedical informatics company. Founder investor, Scottish Equity Partners also participated in the round.
fastacash, a Singapore-based technology company, has completed a Series A funding of $3 million from investors Jungle Ventures, SPRING SEEDS Capital, the investment arm of SPRING Singapore, and Hong Kong-based Funding the Future. The company has already raised $1.5 million in a seed round led by Funding the Future.
Albion Ventures is backing Erin Solar, an investee company set up by ISIS Renewables, a commercial solar panel management company, to provide commercial landlords with solar photovoltaic solutions in Northern Ireland. The investment from Albion will support Erin Solar in developing solar PV projects in Northern Ireland.
PharmAkea Therapeutics has secured backing from Bay City Capital and Celgene Corporation. Under terms of the agreement, Celgene Corporation will commit $35 million to PharmAkea during an initial three-year alliance term, with an option to extend the collaboration with additional funding. Bay City Capital has invested $10 million in a Series A equity financing.
Loom has secured $1.4 million dollars in seed funding. Investors include Google Ventures, MG Siegler, Tencent, Great Oaks VC, among others.
Pursway, an innovator in big data marketing analytics, has closed a $7.2 million round of funding from existing investors, Battery Ventures and Globespan Capital Partners. The new investment will be used to expand the product and sales teams to support the increased demand in data-driven marketing technology.
