Greenville, South Carolina-based Base, a SaaS platform built for executive assistants, has secured $2.6 million in seed funding. Matchstick Ventures led the round with participation from Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, High Alpha Capital and Slack Fund.

Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Immunitas Therapeutics, a single cell genomics-based drug discovery company founded by Longwood Fund, has secured $39 million in Series A financing. Leaps by Bayer and Novartis Venture Fund led the round.

South San Francisco-based Genesis Therapeutics, a biotech company, has raised $4.1 million in seed funding. Andreessen Horowitz led the round with participation from Felicis Ventures.

Decibel, a provider of digital experience intelligence, has closed $17 million in Series B funding. The investors included Draper Esprit and Eight Road Ventures.

Foodvisor, a French nutritional coaching app, has secured $4.5 million in funding. The backer was Demeter.

San Francisco-based Loom Systems, a provider of a predictive AIOps platform, has raised $10 million in funding. Flint Capital led the round.

Lynk, a "knowledge-as-a-service" platform, has secured an undisclosed amount of financing. Singapore-based MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia led the round with participation from Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and Wavemaker Partners.

CloudFactory, a provider of managed workforce solutions for artificial intelligence companies, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. FTV Capital led the round with participation from mother investors that included Weatherford Capital.

Cybersecurity company CHEQ has secured $16 million in Series B funding. The investors were Battery Ventures and MizMaa Ventures.

Vancouver, British Columbia and San Diego-based Phoenix Molecular, a developer of precise cancer therapeutics targeting essential kinases, has raised US$12 million in seed funding. The investors included Pallasite Ventures and World Changing Ventures.
