First Analysis has named Terry Kiwala as vice president of enterprise productivity software and Logan Bender as analyst of human capital technology. Previously, Kiwala was chief financial officer at Vokal while Bender was an equity research sector specialist at Putnam Investments.

New York City and India-based Biz2Credit Inc, an online lender, has secured $52 million in Series B financing. WestBridge Capital led the round.
Austin and New York City-based Liveoak Technologies, an enterprise cloud company transforming virtual business, has secured $8 million in funding. S3 Ventures led the round with participation from Seven Peaks Ventures, Wild Basin Investments, State Farm Ventures, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures and Broadhaven Capital Partners. In addition to the funding, Charlie Plauche, a partner at S3 Ventures and Tom Gonser, founder of DocuSign and a partner at Seven Peaks Ventures, will join the Liveoak Technologies board of directors.
