Pluralsight Inc has agreed to acquire GitPrime, a developer productivity platform, for $170 million. The deal is expected to close the week of May 6, 2019. GitPrime's backers include OpenView and Data Collective.
Andover, Massachusetts-based TransMedics, a medical technology company, has raised over $91 million for its IPO after pricing its nearly 5.7 million shares at $16 per share. The stock began trading May 2, 2019 on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "TMDX." Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan are the lead underwriters. The company's pre-IPO backers include Flagship Pioneering and Kleiner Perkins.
Denver-based CirrusMD, a chat-first virtual care solution, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. The investors included Drive Capital and Colorado Impact Fund.
PeopleGrove, an online platform that connects students with alumni and mentors before, during, and after university, has secured $4.7 million in Series A financing. Reach Capital led the round with participation from Bisk Ventures, Collaborative Fund, GSV Acceleration, Launch Capital, Riverpark Ventures and University Ventures.
San Mateo, California-based Intellimize, an AI-based website personalization company, has secured $8 million in Series A funding. Amplify Partners led the round.
Indio Technologies, an insurance technology company, has secured $20 million in Series B funding. Menlo Ventures led the round with participation from 8VC.
San Francisco and South Korea-based Awair, a provider of intelligent air quality monitors, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. The Westly Group led the round with participation from Altos Ventures, Emerson Electric, iRobot and Nuovo Capital.
Toyota AI Ventures, a subsidiary of Toyota Research Institute, has launched a $100 million fund focused on investing in early-stage startups in autonomous mobility and robotics. Founded in July 2017, Toyota AI Ventures has invested in 19 startups.
New York City-based Confiant, an advertising security firm, has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding. River Bay Investments and Rubicon Venture Capital led the round.
Campbell, California-based Atia Vision, a medical device company, has secured $20 million in Series D funding. Cormorant Asset Management led the round with participation from The Capital Partnership, AMED Ventures and Shangbay Capital.
