Tyba has raised $1.3 million in funding. Sunstone Capital led the round. Tyba is a platform that helps companies connect with and hire junior talent.
CrossCut Ventures has received a credit facility from Square 1 Bank. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Santa Monica, Calif., CrossCut Ventures is a seed-stage venture capital firm.
SolarVista Media Co., Ltd. said Thursday that it has closed an undisclosed amount of Series D funding. Nokia Growth Partners led the round with participation from China Ease Management Limited, Northern Light VC, Tuspark Ventures and FnH. Based in China, SolarVista provides outdoor billboards for advertising clients.
Personal has raised $4.5 million in funding. Legg Mason's Bill Miller led the round as an individual investor. Miller will also join Personal's board of directors. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Personal is a provider of important document storage solutions.
Biodesy said Thursday that it has secured $15 million in Series A financing. Investors included 5AM Ventures, Pfizer Venture Investments and Roche Venture Fund. Also, the company has named Greg Yap as CEO and a director. Based in Burlingame, Calif., Biodesy is a provider of real-time protein function analysis for research and clinical applications.
Breathometer said Thursday that it has closed nearly $2 million in seed funding. Investors included Structure Capital VC and Dillon Hill Capital. The company also received $1 million from all five investors (including Mark Cuban) on the TV show "Shark Tank."  In addition to the funding, the company has expanded its corporate management team with several hires. Matt Ackerman has been named CFO while Brian Sturdivant is on board as vice president of marketing. Also, Matt Sammons has been hired as vice president of sales and Dave Bryand has been tapped as vice president of software engineering. Based in Burlingame, Calif., Breathomer is an app that can measure the user's blood alcohol level.
Bessemer Venture Partners said Thursday that it has invested $25 million in Anaqua. In conjunction with the funding, Alex Ferrara, a partner at BVP, joins the board of directors as an observer. Headquartered in Boston, Anaqua is a provider of intellectual asset management software and maintenance services to patent and trademark holders.
Viridis said Thursday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. Investors include Comcast Ventures, ULU Ventures, Expansion Venture Capital, CNF Investments and Dauk/Wagner Investments. Based in New York City, Viridis is a training and hiring platform for the middle-skill workforce.
Mintigo has closed $10 million in Series C funding. Adams Street Partners led the round with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital and Giza Venture Capital. Concurrent with the funding, David Welsh, a partner at Adams Street Partners, joins Mintigo's board. Based in San Mateo, Calif. and Israel, Mintigo is a marketing intelligence platform.
Clinical Ink has raised $4.3 million in Series B funding. FCA Venture Partners was the lead investor. Based in Philadelphia, PA and Winston-Salem, NC, Clinical Ink is a provider of of eSource technology for clinical trials.
