Logi Analytics said Tuesday that it has raised $27.5 million in funding. New investor LLR Partners led the round with participation from current investor Updata Partners. Based in McLean, Virginia, Logi Analytics, which is also backed by Grotech Ventures and Summit Partners, is a provider of embedded analytics.
Thinking Phone Networks said Tuesday that it has closed $10 million in Series C follow-on funding. Existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Advanced Technology Ventures led the round. Thinking Phone Networks is a communications services provider.
TRAFI, a Lithuania-based developer of an app that's a journey planner for commuters and travelers in emerging markets, has closed $500,000 in seed funding from Practica Capital, TechCrunch reports. In addition to the funding, Sylvain Grande, the former director of Nokia's HERE platform, is joining TRAFI's board.
Xero has closed $150 million in funding from Matrix Capital Management, Valar Ventures and several other U.S. and New Zealand investors. Based in San Francisco, Xero is a provider of online accounting software.

Newsela said Friday that it has closed $1.2 million in seed funding. The lead investors were New Schools Venture Fund and Kapor Capital. Newsela is an online platform that helps students improve their reading.
GreenWave Reality said Thursday that it has raised $19 million in Series B funding. The Westly Group led the round with participation from Craton Equity Partners. Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., GreenWave Reality is a provider of home energy management solutions.
Achates Power has closed $35.2 million in Series C financing. Investors included Sequoia Capital Partners, RockPort Capital Partners, Madrone Capital Partners, InterWest Partners and Triangle Peak Partners. Based in San Diego, Calif., Achates Power is a maker of internal combustion engines that increase fuel efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Lookout said Thursday that it has raised $55 million in financing. Deutsche Telekom was the lead investor. Qualcomm Ventures, Greylock Partners, Mithril Capital Management, Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures and Khosla Ventures also participated in the round. Based in San Francisco and London, Lookout is a provider of mobile security software.
DogVacay.com said Thursday that it has secured $15 million in Series B funding. Foundation Capital led the round with participation from Benchmark, First Round Capital, DAG Ventures and Sherpa Ventures. Headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif., DogVacay is an online community provider of pet care services.
