Netskope, which officially launched from stealth Thursday, has raised $21 million in funding from The Social+Capital Partnership and Lightspeed Venture Partners. According to Netskop, the capital will be used for sales expansion and product development. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Netskope is a provider of cloud app analytics.
Loxo Oncology said Thursday that it has closed $33 million in Series A financing. Founding investor Aisling Capital and new investor OrbiMed Advisors participated in the round. In addition to the funding, Also, Loxo Oncology has formed a board of directors, which includes Steven Elms and Dr. Dov Goldstein, managing partner and partner at Aisling Capital, respectively, and Dr. David Bonita, private equity partner at OrbiMed Advisors. Loxo Oncology is a a biopharmaceutical company focused on targeted cancer therapies.
Pursway said Thursday that it has raised $7.2 million in funding. The investors were Battery Ventures and Globespan Capital Partners. Headquartered in Waltham, Mass. and Herzliya, Israel, Pursway is a provider of big data marketing analytics.
LENSAR said Wednesday that it has raised $27 million in private equity financing and up to $60 million in debt financing. New investor PDL BioPharma provided the debt financing while Aisling Capital, Florida Growth and Florida Opportunity Funds invested in the equity round. Based in Orlando, Florida, LENSAR is a developer of laser systems for cataract surgery.
Madefire said Wednesday that it has raised $5.2 million in Series A funding. True Ventures led the round with participation from Anthem Venture Partners, Crosslink Ventures and Correlation Ventures. Madefire is a provider of storytelling solutions for writers and artists.
VG Life Sciences said Wednesday that it has closed $2,235,000 from MedBridge Venture Fund. Based in Santa Barbara, Calif., VG Life Sciences (formerly named Viral Genetics), is a biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing treatments for cancer, infectious disease, and inflammatory, autoimmune disorders.
San Francisco-based ad tech startup AdStage said on Friday that it has received $100K in additional seed funding from the LAUNCH Fund. It has also acquired Semply, a Google AdWords app for the iPad. No financial terms were disclosed. In addition to the LAUNCH Fund, which only invests in winners of the annual LAUNCH Festival, AdStage also has backing from Freestyle Capital, Quest VP, Dave McClure, Digital Garage, XG Ventures, Mark Mullen and Stewart Alsop.
Sway Medical said on Friday that it has received $750,000 in Series A funding. The OKAngel Sidecar Fund and individual angel investors led the round. Sway Medical is a provider of mobile medical diagnostic solutions.
Adeven said on Friday that it has raised $4.3 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Capnamic Ventures, Iris Capital and existing investor Target Partners. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, adeven is provider of mobile advertising analytics.
Paris-based Rad, an e-commerce site that specializes in fashion, art and design products, said on Thursday that it has raised €2.5 million in Series A funding. The lead investor was Index Ventures. The Vaizra Seed Fund and Nicolas Santi-Weil, founding partner at The Kooples, also participated in the round. Santi-Weil will be joining the Rad board.
