Cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks has agreed to acquire Twistlock, a provider of container security solutions, for $410 million. Also, Palo Alto will buy PureSec, a provider of severless security, for an undisclosed sum. Twistlock is backed by Iconiq Capital, YL Ventures, TenEleven, Rally Ventures, Polaris Partners and Dell Technologies Capital while PureSec is backed by Square Peg Capital, Entree Capital and TLV Partners.
Pico, a provider of audience relationship management solutions, has secured $4.5 million in seed financing, according to an announcement on its site. Precursor Ventures and Stripe led the round. In addition to the funding, Charles Hudson, a managing partner at Precursor Ventures, has been added to Pico's board of directors.
