Eden Health, a personal health platform, has secured $4 million in seed funding. Greycroft Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Piper Jaffray Companies, Max Ventures and 645 Ventures.
Digital Reasoning, an artificial intelligence company, has raised $30 million in funding. BNP Paribas led the round with participation from Barclays, Square Capital, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, Lemhi Ventures, HCA and the Partnership Fund for New York City. In addition to the funding, Angel Rodriguez-Issa, global head of strategic investments, global markets at BNP Paribas, has joined Digital Reasoning’s board of directors.
New York City-based Mark43, a public safety platform, has raised $38 million in Series C funding. General Catalyst and Jim Breyer of Breyer Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Spark Capital, Sound Ventures, Bezos Expeditions, Goldman Sachs, General David Petraeus, Innovation Endeavors, Govtech Fund and SV Angel.
CoEdition, a brand site for women sizes 10 and above, has secured $4 million in seed funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round with participation from General Catalyst, Primary and BBG Ventures.
Silicon Valley-based AllyO, a provider of AI recruiting technology, has secured $14 million in funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round with participation from Cervin Ventures, Gradient Ventures and Randstad Innovation Fund. In conjunction with the funding, Indy Guha, a partner at Bain Capital Ventures, has been added to AllyO's board.
Bozeman, Montana-based Blackmore Sensors and Analytics Inc, a developer of frequency-modulated continuous wave lidar for the automotive industry, has raised $18 million in Series B funding. BMW i Ventures led the round with participation from Toyota AI Ventures, Millennium Technology Value Partners and Next Frontier Capital.
Austin, Texas and Redwood City, California-based Mythic, a developer of a local AI platform that turns devices into secure and trusted intelligent assistants, has raised $40 million in Series B funding. SoftBank Ventures led the round with participation from DFJ, Lux Capital, Data Collective, AME Cloud Ventures, Lockheed Martin Ventures and Andy Bechtolsheim.
Braingrid Corp, a Toronto-based data platform for cannabis growers, has named Douglas Harris as chief financial officer. Harris' work background includes over 25 years' experience in corporate finance, private equity investing, business valuation and financial operations both as an executive and a board member. Braingrid's backers include Quinsam Capital.
17ZUOYE, a three-party K-12 intelligent education platform for teachers, students and parents in China, has raised $250 million in Series E financing. Temasek led the round with participation from other investors that included CITIC Private Equity Funds Management and Shunwei Capital. China Renaissance Group was the financial adviser to 17ZUOYE on the transaction.
Burlington, Massachusetts-based Desktop Metal, a metal 3D printing solutions provider, has raised $65 million in financing. Ford Motor Company led the round with participation from return backer Future Fund.
