Dublin-based Allegion plc, a global security products and solutions provider, has launched Allegion Ventures, a $50 million corporate venture fund. Allegion Ventures will back early-stage companies. Allegion has teamed up with Touchdown Ventures to help in managing the fund.
Ancient Nutrition, a provider of bone broth protein supplements, has raised $103 million in funding. The investors included VMG Partners, Hillhouse Capital and ICONIQ Capital.
New York City-based Prevail Therapeutics Inc, a developer of gene therapies for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, has secured $75 million in Series A financing. The investors included OrbiMed, Pontifax Fund, RA Capital Management, EcoR1 Capital, Omega Funds, BVF Partners LP, Boxer Capital LLC, Adage Capital Management LP and Alexandria Venture Investments.
Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Cyteir Therapeutics, a developer of synthetic lethal therapies that treat cancer and autoimmune disease, has raised $29 million in Series B financing. Venrock led the round with participation from other investors that included Celgene, Lightstone Ventures and DROIA Oncology Ventures.
Barbados-based Bitt.com, a blockchain-based digital payment provider, has secured $3 million in funding. The investor was Medici Ventures, a blockchain-focused subsidiary of Overstock.com.
New York City-based Mighty, a litigation finance startup, has secured $114 million in funding. The company's investors include IA Ventures and Tribeca Venture Partners.
Palo Alto, California-based TripActions, a business travel platform, has raised $51 million in Series B financing. Arif Janmohamed, a partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, led the round with participation from Oren Zeev of Zeev Ventures.
Kelly Klee Inc, a digital insurance broker "for successful Americans," has raised $4.5 million in seed funding. The investors included David Wong, former general partner at Brentwood Associates and Langdell Investments.
Conga has agreed to acquire Indianapolis-based Octiv, a provider of web-based document solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. Conga's backers included Salesforce Ventures while Octiv was backed by Greycroft Partners, Allos Ventures, High Alpha Capital and GE Ventures.
Mountain View, California-based The Fabric, a co-creation foundry focused on the cloud and infrastructure sector, has raised $15 million for its third fund. Fabric 3's investors include Verizon Ventures and March Capital Partners. The target is $20 million. The fund is expected to close by the end of April.
