Holland, Michigan-based Genesis Innovation Group, a developer of medical device technologies, has raised $7.2 million for its $10 million-targeted venture fund. Cultivate(MD) Capital Fund GP LLC will focus on backing early-stage healthcare companies, with a special emphasis on medical device and orthopedic technologies.
European venture firm Ventech Capital has secured 140 million euros for its fifth fund, according to an article posted on Medium Corp. The target is 200 million euros. Ventech Capital V's backers include European institutional investors, families and founders.

San Francisco-based Wildflower Health, a mobile health software company, has secured $8 million in funding. Health Enterprise Partners led the round with participation from Hatteras Venture Partners and Echo Health. In addition to the funding, Ezra Mehlman of HEP, has been added to Wildflower Health's board of directors.
Menlo Park, California-based Voicera (formerly Workfit), a creator of Eva, an enterprise voice assistant, has secured a total of $20 million in funding. The company's investors include e.ventures, Battery Ventures, Cisco Investments, GGV Capital, Greycroft, GV, Microsoft Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and Workday Ventures.
