Ripple Foods, a maker of nutritious plant-based dairy alternatives, has secured $65 million in Series C funding. Euclidean Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Goldman Sachs, Fall Line Capital, GV, Prelude Ventures, S2G Ventures and Khosla Ventures.
New Knowledge, a cybersecurity company that fights fake news, has raised $1.9 million in seed funding. Moonshots Capital led the round with participation from Haystack, GGV Capital, Geekdom Fund, Capital Factory and Spitfire Ventures.
UK-based STORM Therapeutics, a developer of small molecule inhibitors of RNA-modifying enzymes to treat cancer, has named Thomas Cech as a scientific adviser. Cech, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1989, is a professor of chemistry and biochemistry at University of Colorado, Boulder and a director of the University of Colorado BioFrontiers Institute. STORM is backed by Cambridge Innovation Capital, Merck Ventures, Pfizer Ventures, Touchstone Innovations and Taiho Ventures LLC.
Playtika Ltd has formed a new investment arm Playtika Growth Investments. Based in Israel, Playtika Growth plans to invest up to $400 million in Israeli digital entertainment and consumer internet companies.
LRVHealth has raised $100 million for its new fund. Based in Boston, LRVHealth is an early- stage venture firm focused on digital health, medical devices and diagnostics.

Avaya Holdings Corp has agreed to acquire Seattle-based Spoken Communications, a provider of contact center as a service solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal 2018. Spoken's backers include Riverwood Capital and Ignition Partners.

UK-based Bodle Technologies, an Oxford University spinout company, has secured 6 million pounds in Series A funding. Parkwalk Advisors led the round with participation from Woodford Patient Capital Trust, Oxford Sciences Innovation and the Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund advised by Oxford Investment Consultants.
