ContentSquare, a SaaS digital experience insights platform, has raised $42 million in Series B funding. Canaan led the round with participation from other investors that included Highland Europe. UPDATE: Eurazeo  was also one of the investors. 

Bonfire Ventures, a new Los Angeles-based venture capital firm, has raised about $60 million for its maiden fund, according to a blog post on its site. The firm invests in early-stage B2B software startups.

San Francisco-based Logikcull, a provider of legal intelligence software, has secured $25 million in funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round with participation from return backers OpenView Venture Partners and Storm Ventures.

London-based Duco, a data engineering technology company, has closed $28 million in funding. Insight Venture Partners, NEX Opportunities and Eight Roads Ventures led the round.

Pay By Group, a group payments solution provider, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding. The investors included Czar Ventures.

Boca Raton, Florida-based Dominode, a developer of verified identity solutions for regulated industries, has secured $1.3 million in funding. The backer was Blockchange Ventures.

San Francisco and Boulder-based Occipital, a maker of computer vision technologies and products, has secured $15 million in Series C funding. Foundry Group led the round.

HV Holtzbrinck Ventures, a German early-stage and growth investor, has closed its oversubscribed seventh fund at 306 million euros (about $380 million). The fund will invest in businesses in the internet and technology sectors.

StoreHub, a Malaysian startup that helps retailers digitize their businesses, has raised $5.1 million in Series A funding. Vertex Ventures led the round.

LearnPlatform, an educational tech company, has raised $3.2 million in financing. New Markets Venture Partners and Emerson Collective led the round.
