Oslo, Houston and Silicon Valley-based Arundo Analytics, a software company powering advanced analytics in heavy industry, has secured $25 million in Series A financing. The investors included Sundt AS, Stokke Industri, Horizon, Canica, Strømstangen, Arctic Fund Management, Stanford-StartX Fund and Northgate Partners.
Front App, a shared inbox for teams, has raised $66 million in Series B funding, according to a blog post on the company's site. Sequoia Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included DFJ. In addition to the funding, Bryan Schreier, a partner at Sequoia, has been added to Front's board of directors.
TeacherGaming, a Finnish educational tech startup, has raised $1.6 million in seed funding. Makers Fund led the round.
Greenfly, a software platform that enables brands to engage with their advocates to create digital content, has raised $8.5 million in Series B funding. Alpha Edison led the round with participation from return backers Iconica Partners, Elysian Park and Corazon Capital.
Florida-based Neptune Flood, a flood insurance provider, has secured over $2 million in seed funding. Trevor Burgess, the founder and former CEO of C1 Bank, led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Trevor Burgess and Jonathan Carlon will join Neptune Flood's board of directors.
Snowflake Computing, a data warehouse built for the cloud, has raised $263 million in funding. ICONIQ Capital, Altimeter Capital and Sequoia Capital led the round with participation from Capital One Growth Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, Redpoint Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Wing Ventures.
Israel-based Cylus, a developer of cybersecurity solutions for railways and metros, has secured $4.7 million in seed funding. The investors included Magma Venture Partners, Vertex Ventures and the SBI Group.
Botkeeper, an automated bookkeeping solutions provider, has raised $4.5 million in seed funding. Ignition Partners led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Ignition Partners’ Kellan Carter and Atlantis Technologies’ CEO Tom Biggins have been added to Botkeeper's board.
San Francisco-based Converge, a commercial drone software provider, has raised over $750,000 in seed funding. The investors included Samsung NEXT, Techstars Ventures and Kima Ventures.
Champaign, Illinois-based Inprentus, a maker of X-ray and EUV diffraction gratings for synchrotron radiation facilities, has secured a total of $2.5 million in Series A funding. Flyover Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Serra Ventures.
