San Francisco-based Tigera Inc, a networking solutions provider, has raised $10 million in funding. Madrona Venture Group led the round with participation from New Enterprise Associates and Wing Venture Capital. In addition to the funding, Soma Somasegar, a managing director at Madrona Venture Group, has joined Tigera’s board of directors.
San Francisco-based Opendoor, an online home-selling service, has secured $135 million in funding, according to a blog post. Fifth Wall Ventures and Lennar led the round with participation from Rialto Capital Management.
San Francisco-based Peerspace, a community marketplace for finding the perfect space for any gathering, has named Eric Shoup, a former executive at Ancestry.com and eBay, as CEO. Also, the firm has appointed Gene Domecus as chief financial officer. Domecus was CFO for Macys.com. And, Rony Chammas, the founder of Peerspace, will become chairman and chief product officer. Peerspace's backers include Foundation Capital, Structure Capital, Carthona Capital and 31VENTURES.
Newport Beach, California-based Bonti, a biotechnology company, has secured $15.5 million in Series C financing. City Hill Ventures led the round. In addition to the funding, Bonti has named David Ramsay as chief financial officer. Ramsay is the former CFO of Halozyme Therapeutics Inc.
Showpad, a sales enablement platform, has secured $25 million in funding. The investor was Insight Venture Partners.
Denver-based Havenly, a home interior decorating and ecommerce company, has raised $12.5 million in Series B funding. Foundry Group led the round with participation from other investors that included Industry Ventures, Chicago Ventures and Kickstart Fund.
Portland, Oregon-based Fleet, an online marketplace for international logistics, has raised $10 million in Series A financing, according to a blog post on its site. Lufthansa Cargo led the round with participation from other investors that included Hunt Technology Ventures.
Berlin-based Blacklane, a professional drivers service, has secured an undisclosed amount of Series D funding. The investors were ALFAHIM, Daimler and btov Partners.
San Jose, California-based Neuspera Medical Inc, a neuromodulation company, has secured $26 million in Series B financing. The lead investor was 6 Dimensions Capital. In addition to the funding, Dr. Ching Zhu, a managing partner at 6 Dimensions Capital, joined the Neuspera's board of directors.
Shiftboard, a provider of scheduling and hourly workforce management solutions, has closed $11.5 million in Series A funding. NewRoad Capital Partners led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Clete Brewer, a managing partner at NewRoad Capital, will join the company's board of directors.
