GiveGab Inc, a portfolio company of Rand Capital, has acquired Austin, Texas-based Kimbia, an online fundraising, crowdfunding and event platform provider for nonprofits, higher education and community foundations. No financial terms were disclosed.
March Capital has promoted Jed Leidheiser to vice president, according to a spokesperson for the Santa Monica, California-based venture firm. Prior to joining March Capital, Leidheiser worked at Work-Bench Ventures. Earlier he was a senior manager at Accenture and long-term consultant for Goldman Sachs.

Translink Capital Partners has raised $107.5 million for its fourth fund, according to an SEC filing. No target was listed on the document. The Palo Alto, California-based venture firm "helps entrepreneurs develop customer connections and partnerships in Asia."
