Labor marketplace Hyr has secured $1.3 million in seed funding, according to a source familiar with the transaction. Flybridge led the round with participation from XFactor Ventures and Newark Venture Partners.
San Francisco-based CircleCI, a continuous integration and delivery platform, has raised $31 million in Series C funding. Top Tier Capital Partners led the round with participation from Industry Ventures, Heavybit, Scale Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Harrison Metal and DFJ Ventures.
Toronto-based dating app Clover Inc has raised $7 million in financing. Jackson Investment Group LLC led the round.
Space Cycle, a fitness and active lifestyle brand, has raised RMB100 million (about $15.5 million) in Series B funding. Alibaba Taiwan Entrepreneurs Fund II, managed by WI Harper Group, led the round. In addition to the funding, Edward Liu, a partner at WI Harper Group, will join Space Cycle's board of directors.
Toronto-based Wattpad, a multiplatform entertainment company for original stories, has secured $51 million in funding. The investors included Tencent Holdings Limited, BDC, Globe Telecom's Kickstart Ventures, Peterson Group and return backer Raine.

Scaleworks has raised $10 million for its new venture finance fund, according to a blog post. The fund will make loans to growing SaaS companies. Karl Pichler, former chief financial officer at Rackspace, will manage the fund.
San Francisco-based Omni, an operating system for physical things, has raised more than $25 million in funding, according to a spokesperson for the firm. The lead investors were Ripple Inc. executives with participation from Highland Capital.
Finery, an automated online wardrobe platform with predictive analytics for styling and shopping, has secured $5 million in seed funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round with participation from other investors that included Farfetch, BBG Ventures, Adrian Cheng through C Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Next Coast Ventures and Halogen Ventures.
