Digital House, a group of schools that provide digital skills to Latin America's next generation, has raised $20 million in funding. The investor was The Rise Fund, TPG Growth's social impact fund.
New York City-based Clubhouse Software, a maker of a modern project management platform for software development teams, has raised $10 million in Series A financing. Battery Ventures led the round with participation from Resolute Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Neu Venture Capital, RRE Ventures and Zeitgeist Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Neeraj Agrawal, a general partner at Battery Ventures, has been added to Clubhouse's board.
Austin, Texas-based GenXComm, a telecommunications startup, has raised $7 million in Series A funding. Intel Capital led the round with participation from Azure Capital Partners, Bandgap Ventures, Capital Factory, FAM Capital Partners, Lip-Bu Tan, UT Horizon Fund and WS Investment Co.
FRISS, a European provider of analytics software for fraud, risk and compliance to P&C insurers, has raised 15 million euros in Series A funding. Aquiline Technology Growth and Blackfin Capital Partners led the round.
Alpha Venture Partners has raised over $28.3 million for its second fund, according to an SEC filing. No target was listed on the document. The New York City-based venture firm focuses on the software and information technology sectors.
San Francisco-based MindTickle, a sales readiness platform, has raised $27 million in Series B funding. Canaan Partners led the round with participation from return backers Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates and Qualcomm Ventures.
New York City-based SevenRooms, a reservation, seating and guest management software for restaurants, hotels and nightlife, has secured $8 million in funding. Comcast Ventures led the round.
NexWafe GmbH, a German provider of monocrystalline wafers to solar cell producers, has raised 8 million euros in funding. Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Green Gateway Fund 2 advised by Wermuth Asset Management GmbH and return backer Lynwood (Schweiz) AG.
San Francisco-based Inflect, an online platform that connects buyers and sellers of internet infrastructure services, has secured $3 million in seed funding. The investors included Jon Buccola Sr of Greenpoint Technologies and Chris Palermo, CEO of Global Communications Network.
New York City-based Rocketrip, a behavioral change platform for reducing corporate travel costs, has named Dan Figenshu as chief financial officer. Previously, Figenshu worked at Mic Network where he was senior vice president of finance. Rocketrip's backers include Bessemer Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, Genacast Ventures and Y Combinator.
