SymphonyCare, a population health and patient engagement solutions company, has acquired the Birmingham, Alabama-based Influence Health's Empower patient portal business unit. No financial terms were disclosed. SymphonyAlpha Ventures, the venture capital arm of Symphony Corporation, a provider of digital healthcare innovation and technology solutions, led the deal.
Singapore-based EcoWorth Tech, a clean tech startup, has raised S$1 million in seed funding. The backers were Budding Innovations and FundedHere.

Dosh, an app that finds cash for consumers and helps businesses acquire and retain customers, has raised $4.9 million in funding, according to a source familiar with the transaction. Goodwater Capital led the round with participation from Extol Capital and Next Coast Ventures.
Utah-based Simplus, a provider of quote-to-cash solutions, has raised $9.3 million in Series B funding. EPIC Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Salesforce Ventures and Cross Creek Advisors.

Assa Abloy has acquired San Francisco-based August Home Inc, a provider of smart locks and smart home access products and services. No financial terms were disclosed. August Home's backers included Qualcomm Ventures, Maveron, Comcast Ventures, SPDG and Bessemer Venture Partners, according to Crunchbase.
