Norwest sold iCardiac Technologies, a provider of centralized cardiac safety and respiratory solutions. The buyer is ERT. No financial terms were disclosed.
New York City-based Aaptiv, a digital health company, has raised a total of $38 million in funding. The lead investor was Insight Venture Partners with participation from Arena Ventures, Pear Ventures and Switch VC.
BAM Ventures is seeking to raise $20 million for its second fund, according to an SEC filing. Headquartered in Playa Vista, California, BAM Ventures invests in energy, healthcare, social, stealth and media companies.
Ascend Capital Partners has invested in over 24 million euros in four early-stage Finnish tech companies. They include Canatu OY, a maker of 3D formable and stretchable films and touch sensors; Grundium OY, a creator of a portable digital microscope scanner; and TactoTek OY, a producer of injection molded structural electronics.
H2O.ai, an artificial intelligence company for businesses, has secured $40 million in Series C funding. Wells Fargo and NVIDIA led the round with participation from New York Life, Crane Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, Transamerica Ventures and Aegon Group.
San Diego-based NanoCellect Biomedical Inc, a developer of microfluidic cell sorting technologies for cell-based assays, has closed $10 million in Series B financing. The backers included Illumina Ventures, Anzu Partners, Vertical Venture Partners, 5 Prime Ventures, FusionX Ventures and Agilent Technologies.
ReversingLabs, a provider of real-time file analysis and classification, has raised $25 million in Series A funding. Trident Capital Cybersecurity and JPMorgan Chase led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Sean Cunningham of Trident Capital Cybersecurity will join the ReversingLabs' board of directors.
Farmers Business Network, a farmer-to-farmer network, has secured $110 million in Series D funding. T. Rowe Price Associates Inc and Temasek led the round with participation from return backers Acre Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, GV and DBL Partners.
BlazingDB, a data warehouse, has raised $2.9 million in seed funding. The investors were NVIDIA GPU Ventures and Samsung NEXT.
Innovid has agreed to acquire New York City and Israel-based Taykey, a real-time data intelligence company. No financial terms were disclosed. Taykey's backers included Innovation Endeavors, MSR Capital, SoftBank Capital, Sequoia Capital, Marker LLC and Tenaya Capital.
