Seattle-based Heptio, which is built to support and advance the open Kubernetes ecosystem, has raised $25 million in Series B funding. Madrona Venture Group led the round with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Accel Partners.
David Snider is joining Bain Capital Ventures as the firm's new executive-in-residence, according to a blog post by Managing Director Matt Harris. Snider is the former chief financial officer at Compass. He previously worked at Bain as a private equity associate from 2009 to 2011.

Cleveland-based SPR Therapeutics Inc, a provider of neurostimulation technology for chronic and acute pain, has closed $25 million in Series C financing. Frontcourt Ventures and an unidentified family office led the round.
Insignia Ventures Partners has raised $25 million for its inaugural fund, according to an SEC filing. No target was listed on the document. The Singapore-based venture firm invests in startups in Southeast Asia.
London-based social commerce platform Moteefe has raised $2.2 million in seed funding. The investors included Charles Songhurst, Livingbridge, Force Over Mass Capital, Fuel Ventures and Ascension Ventures.
Tonbo Imaging, a maker of advanced night vision imaging systems for defense, surveillance and transportation safety markets, has secured $17 million in Series B Financing. WRV Capital led the round with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Edelweiss Private Equity and Artiman Ventures. Veda Corporate Advisors served as adviser to Tonbo Imaging on the transaction.
