London-based SoftIron, a provider of enterprise data storage, has closed $7 million in funding. Earth Capital Partners led the round.
UK-based data security firm InfoSum has raised $5 million in seed funding. LocalGlobe's Saul Klein and Mike Chalfen of Mosaic Ventures are joining InfoSum's investor base. In addition to the funding, InfoSum has named Nicola Walker as chief commercial officer.
Fort Collins, Colorado-based Ampt LLC, a power conversion technology provider, has secured $15 million in funding. The investors included Bohemian Investments.

University Ventures and NextGen Venture Partners led the round with participation from Route 66 Ventures, Third Kind Venture Capital, Haystack Partners and Task Force X Capital.
Montreal-based SpecificiT Pharma Inc, a developer of personalized hematological cancer immunotherapies, has secured an undisclosed amount of seed funding. The investors were AmorChem, Sanderling Ventures and Accel-Rx Health Sciences Accelerator. In addition to the funding, Dr. Pierre Beauparlant, a venture partner at Sanderling Ventures, will become CEO of SpecificiT.
London-based venture firm Talis Capital has promoted Thomas Williams to principal, Matthew De Jesus to senior associate and Rachel Muzyczka to associate. And, Diogo Coelho is joining the firm as vice president.
Credit card startup Petal has raised $3.6 million million in seed funding. The investors included Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Afore Capital, Rosecliff Ventures, Guild Capital, Great Oaks Venture Capital, Story Ventures and Silicon Badia.
Red Ventures, a digital consumer choice platform, has acquired Atlanta-based Allconnect LLC, a technology-enabled sales and marketing solutions company. The sellers included Covestco and Maveron. No financial terms were disclosed. Petsky Prunier advised Allconnect on the deal.
