DataCubes, a data science platform for the commercial insurance industry, has closed $2.5 million in Series A funding. Seyen Capital and MK Capital led the round.
Seattle-based TraceMe, a social media startup founded by Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding, according to a blog post. (Fortune reported the amount to be $9 million). Matt McIlwain from Madrona Venture Group led the round with participation from other investors that included Bezos Expeditions; Chad Hurley, co-founder of YouTube; Joe Tsai, co-founder of Alibaba; Kenny Dichter, founder of Wheels Up; and Mike Mahan, president of Dick Clark Productions.
New York City-based Talkspace, a provider of online therapy, has raised $31 million in Series C financing. Qumra led the round with participation from previous backers that included Norwest Venture Partners, Spark Capital, SoftBank, Compound Ventures and FirstTime. In addition to the funding, Erez Shachar, a managing partner at Qumra Capital, will join the Talkspace board of directors.
Maestro, an engagement and analytics platform for enterprise live streamers, has raised $3 million in Series A financing. Hersh Interactive Group led the round with participation from Rubicon Venture Capital and the Stanford-StartX Fund.
Taunt, an esports startup, has secured $1.75 million in seed financing. Foundry Group led the round with participation from other backers that included Vulcan Capital.
Rhine, a smart alternative to security deposits, has raised $1.94 million in seed financing. The lead investor was ff Venture Capital. Also, Lakehouse Ventures, Picus Capital, FJ Labs and Red Dog participated in the round.
Guru, a provider of coaching solutions for support and sales teams, has raised $9.3 million in Series A funding. Emergence Capital led the round with participation from return backers FirstMark Capital and MSD Capital.
Notable Labs, a provider of personalized cancer treatments, has secured $10 million in Series A financing. Builders VC led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Kim, a founding member and general partner of Builders VC, joined Notable’s board of directors.
Montage, a provider of video and voice interviewing solutions for top brands, has raised $8 million in funding. Plymouth Growth Partners led the round with participation from previous backers Baird Capital, Beringea and GCI. In addition to the funding, Montage has acquired Costa Mesa, California-based GreenJobInterview, a video interviewing platform.
Tabula Rasa Healthcare has acquired SinfoníaRx, a provider of medication therapy management technology and services for Medicare, Medicaid and commercial health plans. No financial terms were disclosed. Signal Hill advised SinfoníaRx on the transaction. Tabula Rasa’s backers included Originate Ventures, Radius Ventures and Emerald Stage2 Ventures.
