San Jose, California-based Rani Therapeutics, which helps convert injectable drugs into pills, has raised $39 million in Series D funding, according to a source familiar with the fundraising. The investors in this round included GV.
London-based Entrepreneur First, an early-stage tech investor, has secured $12.4 million in funding, according to TechCrunch. The tech news site reported that Greylock Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Mosaic Ventures, Founders Fund and Lakestar Capital.
Cleveland-based SPR Therapeutics Inc, a provider of neurostimulation technology for chronic and acute pain, has closed $25 million in Series C financing. Frontcourt Ventures and an unidentified family office led the round.
Insignia Ventures Partners has raised $25 million for its inaugural fund, according to an SEC filing. No target was listed on the document. The Singapore-based venture firm invests in startups in Southeast Asia.
London-based social commerce platform Moteefe has raised $2.2 million in seed funding. The investors included Charles Songhurst, Livingbridge, Force Over Mass Capital, Fuel Ventures and Ascension Ventures.
Tonbo Imaging, a maker of advanced night vision imaging systems for defense, surveillance and transportation safety markets, has secured $17 million in Series B Financing. WRV Capital led the round with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Edelweiss Private Equity and Artiman Ventures. Veda Corporate Advisors served as adviser to Tonbo Imaging on the transaction.
San Francisco-based Aria Systems, a monetization platform provider, has raised $18 million in funding. Madison Bay Capital led the round with participation from Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, InterWest Partners and Venrock. In conjunction with the funding, Steve Reale, managing partner of Madison Bay Capital Partners and Drew Harman, director of InterWest Partners, have joined Aria Systems' board of directors.
Singapore-based payment solutions provider Red Dot Payment has raised over $5.2 million in funding. The investors included GMO Venture Partners, Wavemaker Partners, Skype co-founder Toivo Annus, MDI Ventures and DORR Group.
Columbus-based Signet Accel, a healthcare interoperability company, has secured $8 million in Series A funding. Edison Partners led the round.
Natick, Massachusetts-based Nasuni, a provider of cloud-scale enterprise file services, has raised $38 million in funding. Goldman Sachs Growth Equity led the round.
