Ballistic Ventures announced that firm co-founder Kevin Mandia has moved from strategic partner to general partner.
The fund is backed by 24 NATO allies.

As a result of this fundraising, the Engine Ventures has more than $1 billion in total assets under management.
DMZ Ventures will make up to 10 investments per year, ranging from C$100,000 to C$250,000.
In this role, Smeaton will provide strategic and technical counsel to Merlin Ventures’ portfolio companies.
Limited partners include the government of Canada, which invested through BDC Capital, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), as well as high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
The fund will invest in Southern European tech companies.
The fund will focus on early-stage crypto projects.
Amadeus and Parker have been collaborating on projects for more than 20 years.
