Seattle-based Amplero, an artificial intelligence marketing company, has secured $17.5 million in Series B funding. Greycroft and Ignition Partners led the round with participation from return backers Wildcat Venture Partners, Seven Peaks Ventures and Trilogy Equity Partners.
Bestow, a developer of an on-demand life insurance platform, has raised $2.5 million in seed funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round with participation from Core Innovation Capital, Morpheus Ventures and 8VC.
Englewood, Colorado-based BillingPlatform, a provider of cloud-based quote-to-cash solutions, has raised a total of $18 million from Columbia Capital. The company has secured an initial $4 million commitment from Columbia with the firm planning to invest an additional $14 million in BillingPlatform. Also, BillingPlatform has named Dennis Wall as CEO. Wall joined BillingPlatform in January 2017 as its chief revenue officer.
Anonyome Labs, a consumer privacy startup, has secured $20.4 in million Series B funding. The investors included John Mumford, founder of Mumford; Todd Davis, founder of LifeLock; Greg Clark, CEO of Symantec; and Hanna Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Anonyome has appointed Davis to its board.
South San Francisco-based Freenome, a health tech company, has secured $7 million in funding. Section 32 led the round.
Joy Capital is seeking to raise $300 million for its second fund, according to an SEC filing. Previously, the Chinese venture firm raised $200 million for its debut fund, as previously reported by PE HUB.
Insurance tech startup Sherpa has raised $2.3 million in funding, according to a blog post on its site. The investors were not named.
Bamboo Ventures has closed $1 million for Bamboo Commerce, its new omnichannel platform. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Bamboo Commerce is a web-based inventory, order management, CRM and fulfillment platform for online retailers, manufacturers and companies.
Chicago and New York-based Outcome Health, a provider of health intelligence that improves patient outcomes, has named Nandini Ramani as chief engineering officer. Previously, Ramani worked at Twitter. Outcome Health's backers include Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, CapitalG, Leerink Transformation Partners, Pritzker Group Venture Capital and Balyansy Asset Management.
CF PharmTech Inc, a maker of inhalation products, has raised $65 million in Series D financing. Future Industry Investment Fund was the lead investor.
