Hampton Creek has raised $23 million in Series B financing. Horizons Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included AME Cloud Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Collaborative Fund and Eagle Cliff. According to the company, the capital will be used for growth and expansion. Headquartered in San Francisco, Hampton Creek is a plant-based food startup.
LoginRadius said Tuesday that it has raised $1.3 million in financing. The investors included Accelerate Fund, Yaletown Venture Partners, Real Ventures, BDC Capital and several unnamed angel investors. Based in Edmonton, LoginRadius is a social login and sharing provider.
Crayon Data has received SGD 1.5 million in funding. Jungle Ventures led the round with participation from SPRING SEEDS Capital. Based in Singapore, Crayon Data is a big data startup.
Tictail said Tuesday that it has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Thrive Capital was the lead investor. Other backers include Balderton Capital, Project A Ventures and Creandum. Based in Sweden and New York City, Tictail is an e-commerce platform.
San Diego digital health startup MD Revolution has secured $7 million in Series B funding from unnamed "individual investors." In conjunction with the funding, MD Revolution has named Jean Balgrosky, co-founder of Bootstrap Incubation and Andy Sassine, former portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments, to its board of directors.
GENBAND, a multimedia and cloud communications solutions developer, has agreed to acquire uReach Technologies. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Holmdel, NJ, uReach is a provider of advanced communications’ technologies, platforms and services. GENBAND's backers include HLM Venture Partners, Oak Investment Partners, Venrock, Star Ventures, Wheatley Partners and Siemens Venture Capital.
UrbanSitter said Tuesday that it has raised $15 million in Series B funding. DBL Investors led the round with participation from Match Group, Aspect Ventures, Canaan Partners, First Round Capital, Menlo Ventures and Rustic Canyon Partners. According to the company, the capital infusion will be used for marketing and product development. Based in San Francisco, UrbanSitter is an online and mobile babysitting booking service.
Berlin-based digital fertility startup Clue has secured 500,000 euros in seed funding. The investors included Luminary Labs and early stage investor Christophe Maire. According to the company, the capital will be used to further develop its fertility-tracking app.
According to an SEC Form D filing, True Ventures is seeking to raise $250 million for its fourth fund. Based in San Francisco and Palo Alto, Calif., True Ventures is an early-stage VC firm.
