Chartio said Wednesday that it has raised $2.2 million in additional funding from Avalon Ventures. According to the company, the capital infusion will be used for personnel hiring and marketing initiatives. Based in San Francisco, Chartio is a provider of data analysis and tracking for businesses.
MDLIVE said Wednesday that it has secured $23.6 million in funding. The investors were Heritage Group, Sutter Health and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. MDLIVE is a provider of provider of telehealth solutions.
Ahalogy has closed $3.1 million in Series A financing. Hyde Park Venture Partners and Origin Ventures led the round with participation from CincyTech, Hyde Park Angels, North Coast Angel Fund and Vine Street Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Origin Ventures' Brent Hill and ExactTarget's former CMO Tim Kopp, have joined Ahalogy's board of directors. Based in Cincinnati, Ahalogy is a Pinterest marketing platform.
Drizly has raised $2.25 million in seed funding. Investors included Atlas Ventures, Abundance Partners, Breakaway Ventures, Continental Advisors, Fairhaven Capital and Reynolds & Company Venture Partners. Based in Boston, Drizly is an alcohol delivery app.
According to a post on its site, Zepp Labs has closed $15 million in Series B funding. GGV Capital was the lead investor. Eyelation has received $1.3 million in funding. IrishAngels led the round with participation from Dallas Venture Partners and various individual angel investors. In conjunction with the funding, Jordan Curnes, IrishAngels' director, will join Eyelation's board. Based in Tinley Park, Illinois, Eyelation is a provider of prescription safety eyewar to employees at manufacturing facilities.
Sharethrough said Wednesday that it has closed $17 million in debt and equity financing. The investors included Elevation Partners, Silver Creek, North Bridge Ventures Partners and Floodgate. Headquartered in San Francisco, Sharethrough is a provider of in-feed advertising.
StyleSeat said Wednesday that it has closed $10.2 million in Series A funding. Lightspeed Ventures led the round with participation from previous backer Lowercase Capital. According to the firm, the capital will be used for growth. Based in San Francisco, StyleSeat is an online beauty and wellness marketplace.
Kensho said Wednesday that it has raised $10 million in seed funding. Investors included General Catalyst, NEA, Accel Partners, Google Ventures and Devonshire Investors.. Kensho is a provider of cloud-based computer solutions that answer financial and market research questions.
Lynda.com has expanded its executive team with four new additions. Joining the firm are Alex Zivoder, who is coming on board as vice president and managing director of EMEA; Shveta Mujumdar, who has been named vice president of corporate development; Ken Sandy, who has been tapped as vice president of product; and Michael Lydon, who has been hired vice president of technology operations. Headquartered in Carpinteria, Calif., Lynda.com is an online education company. It is backed by Accel Partners, Meritech Capital Partners and Spectrum Equity.
