Brandlive said Monday that it has raised $1.6 million in Series A funding. Oregon Angel Fund was the lead investor. Based in Portland, Oregon, Brandlive is a provider of live video commerce solutions.
CrowdStrike said Monday that it has closed $30 million in Series B financing. The lead investor was Accel Partners. Founding investor Warburg Pincus also participated in the round. In conjunction with the funding, Accel Partners' Sameer Gandhi joins the board of directors. Based in Irvine, Calif., CrowdStrike is a provider of security technologies and services.
Tado has secured $2.6 million in financing from existing investors Target Partners and Shortcut Ventures. Based in Munich, Germany, tado is a heating app for homes and small businesses.
Front Desk said Friday that it has closed $3.2 million in seed financing. Second Avenue Partners was the least investor. Venture One Ventures, Expedia founder and Zillow co-founder Rich Barton and Delafield Hambrecht Chairman J.D. Delafield also participated in the round. Headquartered in Seattle, Front Desk is a provider of mobile-focused software solutions for personal services businesses.
Balihoo said Friday that it has raised $5 million from OpenView Venture Partners. The capital will be used for growth and product development. Based in Boise, Idaho, Balihoo is a provider of local marketing automation technology and services.
ZappRx said Thursday that it has received $1 million in seed funding. The lead investor was Atlas Venture. Life Sciences Angel Network also participated in the round. Jay Silverstein, founding member of Oxford Health, Will Cowen, founder and CEO of NaviNet and George Kassabgi, founder of Keas.com, have all been named as advisers to the company. ZappRx is a platform for electronic prescriptions.
Hearsay Social said Thursday that it has closed $30 million in Series C funding. Existing investors Sequoia Capital and NEA led the round. The funding will be used for product development, customer relations and marketing. Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Hearsay Social is an enterprise-ready social sales platform.
RunTitle said Thursday that it has raised $4 million in Series A funding. The lead investor was Austin Ventures. According to the company, the capital will be used for expansion, investments and marketing. Based in Austin, Texas, RunTitle is an online marketplace for mineral title information to the oil and gas industry.
Zuora said Thursday that it has raised $50 million in Series E funding. Investors included Next World Capital, Vulcan Capital, Northgate Capital, Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners, Index Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Tenaya Capital, Workday founder and co-CEO Dave Duffield and Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of Salesforce.com. Also, Abhishek Agrawal of Vulcan Capital and Craig Hanson of Next World Capital have been named to Zuora's board of directors. Headquartered in Foster City, Calif., Zuora is a provider of subscription commerce and billing solutions.
Boticca.com said Thursday that it has raised £2.5 million ($4 million) in Series A funding. Investors included UK-based MMC Ventures and Turkish entrepreneur Sina Afra. According to the company, the capital will be used for growth and global expansion. Bottica.com is a fashion accessories website.
