Hall said Tuesday that it has raised $5.5 million in Series A funding. New investors Felicis Ventures, Signia Venture Partners and Eric Hahn led the round with participation from existing investor Tim Connors of PivotNorth Capital. In addition to the funding, Sundeep Peechu of Felicis Ventures joins Hall's board alongside Founder/CEO Brett Hellman and PivotNorth's Tim Connors. Headquartered in Mountain View, Calif., Hall is an enterprise social networking service.
NatureBox said Tuesday that it has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding. General Catalyst Partners and Softbank Capital led the round. According to NatureBox, the funding will be used for customer base expansion and service enhancements. NatureBox is an online service for healthy snacks.
Viableware said that it has raised $6.5 million in Series B funding. The round was led by a syndicate of unnamed angel investors. Seattle-based Swiftsure Capital also participated in the round. Based in Kirkland, Wash., Viableware is a RAIL payment platform for restaurants.
Bare Snacks said Tuesday that it has raised $9.25 million in equity financing. NGEN Partners was the lead investor with Avrio Capital and Silas Capital also participating in the round. According to Bare Snacks, the capital will be used for growth, expansion and personnel hiring. Based in Walnut, Calif., Bare Snacks is a provider of healthy snacks.
NGage Labs said Tuesday that it has received $6.9 million in Series B funding. The lead investor was Metamorphic Ventures. Existing investor AZ Digital Farm also participated in the round. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, nGage Labs is a provider of in-store shopping engagement solutions.
Continuum Healthcare has received a $11.5 million debt financing facility from Oxford Finance. The financing included a $10 million senior secured term loan and a $1.5 million revolving line of credit. Continuum Healthcare owns and operates nursing facilities and pediatric day care centers in the Northeast.
JenaValve Technology said Tuesday that it has closed $62.5 million in Series C financing. The lead investor was Belgium-based Gimv, a publicly traded investment company. New investors Beijing-based Legend Capital and Omega Funds also participated in the round as did current investors Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners of Paris, Atlas Venture Fund, NeoMed Management, VI Partners AG and Sunstone Capital A/S. Based in Munich, Germany, JenaValve Technology is a provider of transcatheter aortic valve implantation systems to treat patients suffering from aortic valve disease.
Riskive said Tuesday that it has raised $2.2 million in seed funding. Genacast Ventures (a fund formed in partnership with Comcast Ventures) Core Capital and "a world-class group of individual investors" participated in the round. Other investors included NEA Founder Frank Bonsal and serial entrepreneurs Greg Cangliosi, Bill Boyle and Andrew Eye. Based in Baltimore, MD, Riskive is a provider of security solutions that protects companies from cyber attacks.
Real Match has raised $7 million in financing. The lead investor was Edison Ventures which contributed $6 million to that amount. Existing investor Carmel Ventures also participated in the round. Based in New York and Tel Aviv, Real Match is a provider of online recruitment advertising.
Adore Me has received $8.5 million in Series B funding. Investors included Upfront Ventures, Mousse Partners and Redhills Ventures. Adore Me is a lingerie e-commerce site.
