TDK Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Japanese electronics company TDK Corporation, has hired Ravi Jain to lead its its regional India investments at its new India office.

Most recently, he was head of innovation at Maersk.

The target is €250 million.

Fund II focuses on early-stage digital and sustainability ventures in Northwest Europe.

Investors include AGCO, ASR, Invest International, Invest-NL, Klaverblad Verzekeringen, Oost NL and Van Lanschot Kempen.

TMC Venture Fund and CE-Ventures, the corporate venture capital platform of Crescent Enterprises led the round.
