Fontinalis Partners said Wednesday it invested in Telogis. Financial terms weren’t announced. Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based Telogis provides cloud-based software products and services for companies with mobile workers, vehicles and other mobile assets.
FieldAware said Wednesday it raised a $24 million funding round. Summit Bridge Capital led the round with support from Silicon Valley Bank, while existing investors OpenView Venture Partners, Atlantic Bridge Partners and Oyster Capital Partners also participated. FieldAware, based in Plano, Texas and Dublin, provides cloud-based field service automation SaaS solutions.
Cultivian Sandbox Ventures has led a $10 million Series A for Conversis Corp. Existing investors Middleland Capital and Heartland Farms also participated. Minneapolis-based Conservis provides cloud-based farm management software solutions.
Sonendo said Monday it completed an equity financing round of $35 million led by Meritech Capital Partners. New investor SEB Private Equity joined Fjord Ventures, OrbiMed Advisors and NeoMed Management in the round. Laguna Hills, Calif.-based Sonendo develops technology for the root canal therapy market.
Peak Ventures said Monday it closed a $23 million venture capital fund that will invest in seed-stage startups in Utah and the Mountain West. Initial amounts will range from $100,000 to $1 million. Peak Fund I has already invested in two companies, Grasswire and Owlet.
Sandlot Solutions said Monday it raised $23.3 million in fresh capital. This includes $17 million in a preferred stock investment from Lemhi Ventures plus capital infusions from existing investors North Texas Specialty Physicians and Santa Rosa Holdings. Irving, Texas-based Sandlot provides clinical interoperability and community health management solutions.
Blinq Networks said Monday it raised $15.1 million in Series B funding led by the Win Fund. Kensington Global Private Equity Fund is a new investor. Existing investors BDC Capital, New Venture Partners and Summerhill Venture Partners also participated in the round. Plano, Texas-based Blinq, which has raised $32.5 million in total financing, provides network services that help mobile operators deliver mobile broadband services in high density areas.
FanDuel said Tuesday that it closed $70 million in Series D financing led by Shamrock Capital Advisors. NBC Sports Ventures and KKR participated in the round. New York-based FanDuel provides fantasy sports leagues that last just one day. Existing investors include Comcast Ventures, Pentech Ventures, Bullpen Capital, Scottish Enterprise and serial investor Richard Koch also participated. The company has raised $88 million in total capital. Mesa Global served as FanDuel’s investment bank for this round of financing.
Longitude Capital and NovaQuest Capital Management have acquired California Cryobank. Financial terms weren’t announced. Los Angeles-based California Cryobank provides resources for frozen donor sperm and specialized reproductive services, including private egg and embryo storage services.
Mati Kochavi, the entrepreneur behind AGT International, has launched Moonscape Ventures. The investment firm, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, focuses on early stage investments in “new and innovative” technologies in a wide variety of sectors related to the Internet of Things, including smart cities, big data and news and media technologies. First round investments will range from $500,000 - $5 million. Moonscape’s first deal is a $3.1 million investment in SocialStudio, which provides a software platform that allows publishers to transform original web content into videos viewable on all devices.
