Lavante has raised a $3.5 million round of investment led by PointGuard Ventures. Prior investors SAP Ventures and ATA Ventures also participated in the financing. San Jose-based Lavante provides on-demand SIM (Supplier Information Management) and profit recovery solutions.
HearHere Radio said Wednesday that it has raised to-date $1.7 million in Convertible Promissory Notes. The investors include The Associated Press, A.H. Belo Management Services, Whittier Ventures, Ringleader Ventures, individual backers including Chicago venture capitalist Steve Miller, employees, family and friends. HearHere Radio’s flagship app, Rivet News Radio, aims to deliver personalized local, national and world news directly to smartphone users.

Spring Mountain Capital said Tuesday that its private equity group led a growth equity investment in IsoPlexis Corp. Financial terms weren’t announced. Connecticut Innovations, YEI Innovation Fund (a part of the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute),Yale University, and North Sound Ventures also participated in the round. Branford, Conn.-based IsoPlexis developed a single cell immunoassay and related software that aims to provide in-depth understanding of immune and cancer cells.
