The Center for Innovative Technology said Wednesday that its CIT GAP Funds has invested in EVS Glaucoma Therapeutics. Financial terms weren't announced. Herndon, Va.-based EVS is developing a sustained delivery system for glaucoma medication.

Benu Networks said Tuesday it raised $26.6 Million in Series B funding led by Sutter Hill Ventures. Existing investors Spark Capital and Comcast Ventures also participated. Billerica, Mass.-based Benu, according to its website, provides solutions for fixed and mobile operators to augment their networks.
Easic Corp. has closed $23.5 million in growth capital financing from Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, Crescendo Ventures, Seagate Technology and Evergreen Partners. Santa Clara, Calif.-based Easic makes semiconductors.
