IrishAngels has led a $2 million Series A round for RIVS. Chicago-based RIVS provides software for online written, voice and video interviews.
ClearDATA Networks has secured $7 million in Series B funding from Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) and Excel Venture Management. Phoenix-based ClearData provides healthcare cloud computing and information security services for healthcare providers, software vendors and VARs.
Trax Technology Solutions Pte Ltd said Tuesday it finalized an A round financing agreement with a Singapore private equity funds. Terms of the deal call for an immediate cash infusion of US$ 6.6 million, with an option for an additional US$ 15 million available over the next 18 months. Trax Tech, of Singapre, provides in-store auditing and shelf monitoring solutions for the consumer goods industry.
Clutch said Monday that it has closed a $5.3 million Series B financing round led by Safeguard Scientifics. Previous investors, including Ben Franklin Technology Partners, also contributed. Philadelphia-based Clutch is a mobile app that stores gift cards, loyalty cards and coupons.
ConforMIS said Friday it has expanded its Series E financing to $167.7 million with participation from top-tier Sovereign Wealth Funds, Government Investment Funds and Private Equity Funds in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It did not name the investors. ConforMIS, in January 2012, said it raised $89 million in a Series E round with principal investors including AGC Equity Partners and Axel Johnson. Bedford, Mass.-based ConforMis medical device company that specializes in patient-specific orthopedic implants.
PureCars has acquired Ronin Solutions. Financial terms weren't announced. Ronin provides marketing services to auto dealers. PureCars earlier this year raised $5 million in equity capital from Gemini Investors and Stage 1 Ventures.
Horizon Technology Finance Corp. led a $6 million venture loan facility for Ekahau Inc. Horizon said it funded an initial $1.5 million of its $3 million commitment under the venture loan facility. Reston, Va.-based Ekahau provides Wi-Fi-based Real-Time Location Systems.
Dicerna Pharmaceuticals said Thursday it closed $60 million n an oversubscribed Series C round of financing led by new investor RA Capital.  Brookside Capital, Deerfield, and Omega Funds also participated. The round also includes all five of Dicerna’s existing institutional investors: Abingworth Management, Domain Associates, Oxford Bioscience Partners, Skyline Ventures and SR One. Watertown, Mass-based Dicerna is a pharmaceutical company developing RNA interference based therapeutics.
Amplience said Tuesday it received £3.7 million (US$5.7 mln) of investment led by Octopus Investments. Existing stakeholders and investors also participated, as well as new investor Northstar Ventures. London-based Amplience is an eCommerce technology company.
Scaleogy said Tuesday that it raised its first round of venture capital from two new investors. London-based Scaleogy, a luxury and lifestyle magazine backed by Regal Venture Capital, did not disclose the name of the new investors or how much they raised.
