Automox said Nov. 13 that it raised $9.3 million in a Series A round led by TechOperators. Also participating in the round were CRV, BlueNote Ventures and Tom Noonan as well as other prior investors. Automox, of Boulder, Colorado, provides cloud-based patching and configuration management solutions.
Sojern has raised $120 million in a funding round led by TCV. Sojern, of San Francisco, is a travel tech company.
ClickClickDrive said Nov. 13 that it raised $1 million in an angel round led by Emmanuel Thomassin, the CFO of Delivery Hero. Other investors include: Stefan Glaenzer (Passion Capital), Jonathan Green (Luxor Capital) and Burkhard Schwenker (former CEO Roland Berger). ClickClickDrive, of Berlin, offers an online platform for all-in-one driving school management software.
PayIt, the VC-backed payments company for government services, is up for sale, two sources said. Harris Williams is advising on the sale. PropertyGuru Group said Oct. 31 that it raised 200 million Singapore dollars ($145 million) in a Series D round led by KKR. PropertyGuru, of Singapore, is a real estate portal.
Pharos Capital Group LLC said Oct. 30 it acquired a majority stake in Charter Health Care Group. Financial terms weren’t announced. Charter Health is a post-acute care provider offering hospice, home health, and transitional care services.
GTR Ventures said Oct. 30 that it invested in Orbitt. Financial terms weren’t announced. Orbitt, with headquarters in London and operations in Mauritius, is an African-focused fintech deals platform.
Sweetgreen is seeking to raise about $200 million, CNBC reported. Fidelity Investments is leading the round for the fast-casual food chain that focuses on salads, the story said.
Epic Games said Oct. 26 that it raised $1.25 billion from KKR, ICONIQ Capital, Smash Ventures, aXiomatic, Vulcan Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Epic Games, of Cary, North Carolina, is the creator of Fortnite, Unreal, Gears of War, Shadow Complex, and the Infinity Blade series of games. Minority investors already include Tencent, Disney and Endeavor. Raine Group and Guggenheim Securities LLC provided financial advice to Epic Games. Smith Anderson is acting as legal adviser to Epic Games.
aXiomatic said Oct. 25 that Michael Jordan and Declaration Capital, the family office of David Rubenstein, have invested in the company. Financial terms weren’t announced although press reports pegged the round at $26 million. Curtis Polk, managing partner and alternate governor of Hornets Sports & Entertainment, is also investing. aXiomatic, of Los Angeles, is an esports and video game startup. George P. Stamas of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher was aXiomatic’s counsel for the funding round.
