Minoryx Therapeutics said Sept. 26 that it raised 21.3 million euros ($25 million) in a Series B round led by Fund+. Also participating were SFPI, S.R.I.W. and Sambrinvest, in addition to all Series A investors (Ysios Capital, Kurma Partners, Roche Venture Fund, Idinvest Partners, Chiesi Ventures, Caixa Capital Risc and HealthEquity). Minoryx is developing drugs for orphan disease.
Holmusk said Sept. 25 that it raised $9.75 million in pre-series A financing. Heritas Venture Fund took part in the round, including other new and existing investors. Holmusk, of Singapore, is a digital health and data analytics company.
MAXEX LLC said Sept. 24 that it raised $38 million in a funding round led by Moore Asset Backed Fund LP. MAXEX, of Atlanta, is residential mortgage loan exchange provider.
Vonage Holdings Corp said Sept. 20 that it agreed to buy NewVoiceMedia for $350 million. NewVoice is a cloud Contact Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) provider. NewVoice is backed by investors including BGF Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Eden Ventures, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Salesforce Ventures and Technology Crossover Ventures. Update: Phil Berkowitz, Jason Greenberg and Paul Zangrilli of Jefferies advised NewVoiceMedia. Samantha McGonigle and Kevin Sullivan of Weil, Gotshal & Manages provided legal advice.
Providence Medical Technology Inc said Sept. 20 that it raised $25 million in financing led by Revelation Partners. Also participating was the private equity investment team at BMO Global Asset Management (EMEA), MVM Life Science Partners, Medvest Capital, and Aphelion Capital. Providence, of Pleasanton, California, is developing surgical solutions for cervical spine surgery.
YouDo.com said Sept. 19 that it raised $17 million. PJSC MTS, which led the round, accounted for $12 million. Current shareholders also took part in the round. YouDo.com, of Moscow provides an online platform that allows users to find professionals to perform their private or business-related tasks including cleaning and housekeeping, freight transport and courier delivery.
OODA Health said Sept. 19 that it raised $40.5 million in a series A round led by Oak HC/FT and DFJ. OODA, of San Francisco, is a healthcare payments company.
Livespace said Sept. 19 that it raised $70 million in a Series C funding round led by TPG Growth and Goldman Sachs. Also participating were existing investors Jungle Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Helion Ventures. Livespace, of Bengaluru, India, provides a home interior and renovation platform.
Empower said Sept. 19 that it raised $4.5 million in a round led by Initialized Capital. Existing investor Sequoia Capital also participated. Empower is a mobile bank.
AlphaNetworks said Sept. 18 that it raised $10 million in an initial funding round led by Alphabit Digital Currency Fund. Also participating were Shuttle Fund of Korea, Smart Contract of Japan and other crypto investors. AlphaNetworks is an entertainment platform that uses blockchain.
