Anacapa Partners said Sept.18 that it closed a growth investment in Dooblo. Financial terms weren’t announced. Dooblo, of Israel, provides mobile survey software for the market research industry.
Themis said Sept. 18 that it raised 40 million euros ($44 million) in a Series D round of funding co-led by new investors, Farallon Capital and Hadean Ventures. MSD (tradename of Merck & Co Inc, Kenilworth NJ USA) and Adjuvant Capital, as well as current investors Global Health Investment Fund, aws Gruenderfonds, Omnes Capital, Ventech and Wellington Partners Life Sciences, also participated. Themis develops immunomodulation therapies for infectious diseases and cancer.
Beekeeper said Sept. 16 that it raised $45 million in Series B financing, co-led by Thayer Ventures and Swisscanto Invest by Zürcher Kantonalbank. Also participating were prior investors including Atomico, Alpana Ventures, Edenred Capital Partners, Fyrfly, Hammer Team, investiere, HighSage Ventures, Keen Venture Partners, Samsung NEXT, Swiss Post, and Swisscom. Beekeeper is a digital workplace app where operational systems and communication channels live within a platform.
Pluang said Sept. 11 that it raised $3 million in Series A funding led by Go-Ventures. Pluang, of Indonesia, is a financial platform that aims to provide users with access to low cost savings products.
Dutchie said Sept. 11 that it closed a $15 million Series A round led by Gron Ventures. Also participating were Snoop Dog’s Casa Verde Capital, Thirty Five Ventures, Shutterstock founder and CEO Jon Oringer, as well as DoorDash founders and early executives. Dutchie, of Bend, Oregon, provides an online ordering platform that helps consumers buy cannabis products from dispensaries for pickup or delivery.
Keranova said Sept. 10 that it raised 24 million euros ($26.5 million) in a second round of funding that included participation from Mérieux Equity Partners and Supernova Invest. Financière Arbevel, Tourrette Investissement and other international partners also participated. Keranova specializes in the development of surgical ophthalmology equipment.
Vim said Sept 9 that it raised $24 million in a Series B round led by Optum Ventures. The round also included investments from Premera Blue Cross and follow-ons by Great Point Ventures and Sequoia Capital. Vim, a healthcare platform, aims to align incentives between payers and healthcare providers.
Grove Collaborative said Sept. 6 that it raised $150 million in a Series D funding round co-led by Lone Pine Capital, General Atlantic, and Glynn Capital. Greenspring Associates participated in the round as a new investor, as well as existing investors Norwest Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, NextView Ventures, MHS Capital, and Heron Rock Capital. Grove Collaborative provides an auto-shipment service that delivers all-natural home, beauty, and personal care products direct to consumers.
Health Recovery Solutions has raised $10 million in funding led by Edison Partners. Health Recovery, of Hoboken, New Jersey, provides a remote patient monitoring platform for health systems and home care agencies.
OpenGov said Sept. 5 that it acquired ViewPoint. Financial terms weren’t announced. ViewPoint provides multi-tenant SaaS software for permitting, licensing, and code enforcement operations. OpenGov is backed by venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz, 8VC, JC2 Ventures, Emerson Collective, and other top investors.
