Cambridge Crops said Aug. 9 that it raised $4 million in seed funding led by The Engine. The round included participation from Refactor Capital, Closed Loop Ventures, Bluestein & Associates, SOSV and Supply Chain Ventures. Cambridge Crops, of Somerville, Massachusetts, is a technology company focused on the food, agriculture, and packaging industries.
Curbio Inc said Aug. 9 that it raised $7 million in Series A funding co-led by Camber Creek and Brick & Mortar. Curbio, of Potomac, Maryland, is a home renovation technology company that aims to help realtors and their clients prepare their homes for sale.
Wheels Up said Aug. 9 that it raised $128 million in a Class D funding round co-led by Franklin Templeton, T. Rowe Price and Fidelity Management & Research. Other institutional and private investors participated in the round. Wheels Up is a membership-based private aviation company.
PurpleLab said Aug. 8 that it raised $3 million in growth financing from Edison Partners. PurpleLab is a healthcare data and analytics platform.
Vymo said Aug. 8 that it raised $18 million in Series B funding led by Emergence Capital. Existing investor Sequoia India also participated in the round. Vymo provides an AI-powered mobile personal sales assistant that aims to capture data of sales activities.
WSC Sports said Aug. 8 that it raised $23 million in Series C funding led by O.G Tech Ventures. Participating in the round were NTT DOCOMO Ventures, HBSE Ventures, Maor Investments, ISF and Go4it Capital. Existing investors including Intel Capital, Detroit Venture Partners, Elysian Park Ventures, WISE Ventures, 2BAngels and iAngels also joined the round. WSC Sports aims to provide personalized and automatic sports video content in near real-time.
Cybereason said Aug. 6 that it raised $200 million in funding from SoftBank Group Corp. Cybereason, of Boston, is a cyber security company that has raised $389 million in capital to date.
Lucira Health said Aug. 5 that it raised $15 million in a Series B equity financing led by Seraph Group. Eclipse Ventures, DCVC (Data Collective), Y Combinator and Sunstone Management participated in the round. ShangBay Capital also invested in the company. Lucira Health, of Emeryville, California, develops instrument-free, molecular infectious disease testing products.
Wind Point Partners said Aug. 5 that it sold Evans Food Group to Highlander Partners. Financial terms weren’t announced. Evans, of Chicago, produces and sells a portfolio of finished pork rinds and pork rind pellets to customers in the U.S., Canada and more than ten countries across Latin America.
FNA said Aug. 1 that it raised $5.5 million in Series A funding led by IQ Capital. GETTYLAB participated in the round. FNA, of London, provides a platform that aims to help financial institutions map and monitor complex interconnected networks and to simulate operational and financial risks.
