Lightricks said July 31 that it raised $135 million in Series C funding led by Goldman Sachs Private Capital Investing. Insight Partners and ClalTech participated in the round. Lightricks creates photo and video editing apps.
Alizé Pharma 3 said July 31 that it raised 67 million euros ($75 million) in a Series A round led by LSP. Novo Ventures, Kurma Partners, Orbimed, Pontifax, Partners Innovation Fund and Innobio 2 (managed by Bpifrance) participated in the round. Existing shareholders Sham Innovation Santé/Turenne Capital, Crédit Agricole Création and TAB Consulting also took part. Alizé Pharma 3, of France, develops therapeutic peptides for rare endocrine and metabolic diseases.
Truework said July 30 that it raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Sequoia Capital. Participating in the round were Stanford University and existing Truework investors, including Khosla Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and Founder Collective. Truework is an identity platform that aims to give consumers control over their personal and professional information.
WellSet said July 30 that it raised pre-seed funding led by Kelly Noonan Gores and Broadway Angels. Other investors include private equity, and wellness and tech angel investors. Financial terms weren’t announced. WellSet is a booking platform for wellness seekers to discover and book practitioners.
Sphera, a Genstar Capital portfolio company, has agreed to buy thinkstep. Financial terms weren’t announced. Thinkstep, of Stuttgart, Germany, provides software and consulting services company that specializes in corporate sustainability and product tewardship. Thinkstep raised about $31 million in VC funding from investors including Next47 and Gimv, according to PitchBook.
Monday.com said July 30 that it raised a $150 million Series D round led by Sapphire Ventures with participation from Hamilton Lane, HarbourVest Partners, ION Crossover Partners and Vintage Investment Partners. Monday.com is a work management platform.
Medley Capital Corp said July 29 that it is merging with Sierra Income Corp, which is buying Medley Management Inc. Sierra will emerge as the surviving entity. The combined company, which will have about $4.7 billion of assets under management, is expected to be the third largest internally managed BDC and the 13th largest publicly traded BDC by assets.
StashAway said July 29 that it closed a $12 million Series B round led by, the investment arm of Fidelity International. Asia Capital & Advisors participated in the round. StashAway is a robo-advisor for both retail and accredited investors.
Robinhood, the trading startup, has raised $323 million in a new round of funding. DST Global led the round which included participation from investors including Ribbit Capital, NEA, Sequoia, and Thrive Capital.
