Heap Inc said July 23 that it raised $55 million in Series C funding led by NewView Capital. Participating in the round includes new investors DTCP, Maverick Ventures, Triangle Peak Partners, Alliance Bernstein Private Credit Investors, and Sharespost, as well as existing investors NEA, Menlo Ventures, Initialized Capital, and Pear VC. Heap collects and organizes customer behavioral data.
Visa said July 17 that it acquired Payworks. Financial terms weren’t announced. Payworks, of Munich, Germany, provides payment gateway software for the Point of Sale (POS). Payworks has raised $19 million through four rounds of VC funding, Crunchbase said. FT Partners advised Payworks.
TravelPerk said July 18 that it raised an additional $60 million to bring its Series C round to $104 million. The Series C extension included participation from existing investors Kinnevik, partners of DST Global, Target Global, Felix Capital, Sunstone, and LocalGlobe. TravelPerk is a business travel platform.
LG Electronics is leading the Series A-1 equity financing round for Washlava. Financial terms weren’t announced. Washlava’s technology allows customers to reserve and pay for laundry machines from their smartphones.
Amperity said July 15 that it raised a $50 million Series C round from Tiger Global Management, Goldman Sachs, Declaration Partners (an investment firm backed by David Rubenstein), Madera Technology Partners, Madrona Venture Group, and investor Lee Fixel. Amperity provides a AI-powered customer data management platform.
Clear Review said July 3 that it raised 2.6 million pounds ($3.3 million) Series A round led by AlbionVC. Mercia participated in the round. Clear Review is a UK HR technology company.
ConnexPay said June 27 that it raised a $7 million Series A round led by BIP Capital. ConnexPay, of Minneapolis, is a payment provider for the travel industry.
PanTheryx said June 26 that it raised $50 million in financing from Perceptive Advisors. PanTheryx, of Boulder, Colorado, is a biotech that is focused on addressing serious GI related health conditions. Armentum Partners acted as financial adviser to PanTheryx.
StockX said June 26 that it closed a $110 million series C round led by DST Global, General Atlantic, and GGV Capital. Current investors GV and Battery Ventures took part in the round. StockX also said it named Scott Cutler as CEO. Cutler succeeds co-founder Josh Luber, who will continue to serve on the executive leadership team and board of directors. StockX, of Detroit, provides a 'Stock Market of Things’. The platform allows consumers to buy and sell across four categories: sneakers, watches, handbags and streetwear.
Kantox, a venture-backed currency exchange platform, is looking to raise more money.
