DocuSign Takes Google Ventures into Series D, Beefs Up the Round
DocuSign, the electronic signature company, has added a few million and a new VC to its latest investment round. Last month, DocuSign revealed a $47.5 million round, led by KPCB and including Accel Partners, Comcast Ventures, SAP Ventures and a large, global institutional investor. Now, the company is revealing, the Series D has been boosted to $55.7 million with the addition of Google Ventures.

D round of financing that was announced on 7/13/12.
On Tuesday, 8/7/12, DocuSign will announce that Google Ventures has joined
investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (lead), Accel Partners, Comcast
Ventures, SAP Ventures and a large, global institutional investor,
bringing the Series D round to $55.7 million in strategic investments. The
funds will be used to accelerate growth of the DocuSign Global Network via
increased customer-focused R&D, deeper vertical industry solutions, and
faster international expansion.
